Christine Laker dietitian

Christine Laker

MS, RDN, LDN

Christine Laker is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Indiana University. She then continued her education by achieving a graduate degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion at Simmons University. Her field experience was also completed through the Simmons University’s dietetic internship program with a concentration in eating disorders, one of the only comprehensive programs in the country that provides formal training in eating disorders and disordered eating.

Marci Evans was a mentor and professor of Christine’s during her training, which ultimately led to her joining the practice in Summer of 2019.

Christine’s approach to nutrition counseling is centered around a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size (HAES™) perspective.

She devotes her practice to fostering a guilt free relationship with food, body, and movement. Christine specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, and intuitive eating with clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.

In addition to her time at Marci RD Nutrition, Christine works with clients struggling with eating disorders and other coexisting conditions at higher levels of care. This allows her to have a unique and relatable perspective when working with those who have experienced treatment in higher levels of care.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling home to Indiana where her family lives on a farm with two English bulldogs, cows, and even donkeys! She also likes to rewatch episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Friends, explore Boston, and try all the fun restaurants the city has to offer!
