I prefer to eat warm food most of the time. And during the freezing winter months my food is most often warm and quite comforting. One of my very favorite comfort meal comes courtesy of Trader Joe’s Turkey Bolognese, which I am currently OBSESSED with. I’m obsessed for a couple of reasons:
1. It tastes delicious- seriously delicious. I simply add in some crushed red pepper for a little spice and I’m good to go.
2. It comes frozen so I can keep a couple of boxes stock piled for when I need a quick meal without worry of spoilage.
3. It comes pre-cooked so all you have to do is heat it up.
4. It’s nutritious. Paired with some whole grain pasta and veggies, you have a complete meal in about 15 minutes.
So the next time you need a quick and easy meal, consider trying TJ’s bolognese. All you need to do is boil water, add pasta and cook to desired consistency. Heat up your sauce in a pan and saute up some veggies in olive oil. And voila- dinner in no time!
