Calorie Banking & Vyvanse

In this Vlog I talk about why you can’t get something for nothing, ESPECIALLY when it comes to food, nutrition, and health. I’ll be discussing two issues, calorie banking & the new FDA approved drug Vyvanse. Both of these have the potential to make big promises without properly identifying the costs. I hope you enjoy it.

What other food and nutrition myths promise something for nothing? I can certainly add calorie-free dressing to the list. I’d love to hear your ideas!

  1. Totally agree that eating breakfast can make a big difference in regards to how the rest of our days goes in terms of making healthier options and treating your bodies better! Definitely my favorite meal of the day.

    This video was great. I personally disagree with the “calorie banking” idea. All these diet “tactics” seem so ridiculous to me. It appears most people refuse to face the fact that weight loss and being healthier doesnt require much other than balanced, healthy meals and some kind of fitness regime. Im sure some people’s issues may be more difficult than this but I believe that’s the exception and not the norm.

    Finally, the topic of binge eating is something im very familiar with but quite honestly, I wouldnt rely on any drugs to solve the issue. is sad that drug companies try to make people believe this. I agree with what you said!

The majority of what I share on my website and with my clients is based on research as well as my experiencing in counseling people. While it’s natural human tendency to want to find “tricks” that work, the majority of the time they create more harm than good! I appreciate you chiming in. 🙂
