A Thankful Heart
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not only do I love a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but I love that we have a holiday tradition oriented around cultivating gratitude.
On this Thanksgiving day I have a very thankful heart. In particular, I am so grateful for my work. I have the luxury of spending each of my days dedicated to my passion- helping other heal and find a happy and peaceful relationship with food and with themselves. Sometimes I think it’s miraculous that I get to show to my very own office, as my very own boss, pretty much doing as I please! I get to set my own schedule, wear jeans if I want, and connect with amazing people. My clients teach me each and every day. My work helps me to be a less judgmental, more compassionate, and all around better person. I get to laugh more than you think I might and spend my time with smart, funny, and incredibly caring clients and colleagues. I get to form long-term relationships with those that I work with. I get to pursue my life’s passions on my very own terms. I spend the majority of my waking hours at 22 Hilliard St and I am so fortunate to say- I wouldn’t have it any other way.
To my clients and colleagues on this Thanksgiving day, I hope you are able to take a moment to reflect on the things you are thankful for. Yes, our lives are filled with incredible challenges and upsets. But as the quote on the top of this page says, “gratitude unlocks the fulness of life.” May your life feel full during this holiday season.
Warmly,
Marci
